No. It doesn't spike and it has a good horizontal knockback. It also comes out much faster and is one of the best way to edgeguard and also great move to do out of a shield.

Thank you GIMPY! Meta doesn't look as KO challenged as people say. I do see that he has less knockback with a lot of his smashes, but the speed at which he combos, plus his awesome specials and beastly recovery, make up for that. I look forward to maining him, you are right, he is too cool!

because those moves do like 10% and dont combo into anything and dont leave the opponent in a position where they can be edgeguarded at all.

because the game is different than it was at e for all. at e for all both of those moves did like 30% would destroy sheilds and had RIDICULOUS priority.

Nice vids there. Although I dont have the game I heard that Mach Tornado can be used as an anti-projectile of some sort and it also doubles as recovery so maybe it can be used at some extent?

Also is it really that hard to land a hit from Dimensional Cape? In other words is this move viable?

It looks like the third time when you were battleing Lucky as Sonic, about 2:51 it looks like your dair spiked. I'm not sure though. It could be Sonic just Rebounding from hitting the bottom the the stage.
But it REALLY looks like a spike

Possibly, as you should know, many moves do more the higher teh foes percentage.
Like in HRC, Gannon's Warlock Punch hits farther whn the sandbag is at higher percents, while the HRB does better at lower percents.
Maybe MK's Dair spikes at higher percentages?

MK ws WAY better at E for All.

His attacks did like, 20% more damage. He was like power of Bowser and the Speed + Grace of Fox. Now he just has really fast 20% weaker attacks.

His special attacks may have been better, but I am asking overall. I played him at E 4 All and I have played him in the finished game, and it seems like he can KO now which was his main weakness in E 4 All. I just wanted Gimpy's opinion.

Have anothyer question of the tornado and drill thingy. Do you think it can be used to end a combo sometimes? Those moves are quite fast and if executed corectly i think there wont be any punnishment for using them.

Also does the tornado completely neutralize projectiles like i heard it was?

So Gimpy, Meta Knight's drill rush damage on longevity have been nerfed dramatically, but is it still useful for ANYTHING else?

They dont do much %, they don't do much knockback, you can't combo out of them, they don't set up for edgeguards, they aren't very safe.

They just don't strike me as good moves.

Every so often sure to mix things up and reset your knockback on dsmash/neutral/down air i suppose, but otherwise not really worth doing the moves.

his down b has a lot of potential methinks, it's hard to land at first though

Oh well, I figured as much.

Even though his Side B has been destroyed, I still think that his Mach Tornado may have some potenial in the future.

His illusion cape is tough as nails to land, though.

Gimpy I wouldn't say the moves suck or are awful. More so it seems it doesn't work the way you wish it did, which is to use it as a combo starter (or as you stated, set up for edgeguard). The moves themselves are just a nice way to get multi hits in fairly quickly and rack up damage, that is all. Seeing as that's basically the way Metaknight's overall moveset is like, they both seem overall very fitting to me and useful. Damage wise they seem to do a nice solid number of around 10 percent or so, which seems quite fine to me. Perhaps you merely should just experiment with them more or accept them for what they really are, just a nice quick way to get some damage in. Just my thoughts.

I used mach tornado alot today against a Pit player and it worked wonders. It looks like its impossible to DI out of and it sends them hurling into an unknown direction if you catch people throughout the entire spin if spun to maximum time.
