pretty good match, the thing i instantly noticed was that you aim the laser (diagonally upwards/downwards), i didn't do this yet, but i will definitly make use of that now. The spike on the first stock was nice, and i laughed at the edgehog in the second stock haha getting dair'ed twice and getting back up edgehogging the kirby ^^.

edit: just watched your battle NikoK, that was a pretty sweet first life, but then you seemed to go for more DOWNB than you needed too. it seemed to get you hit a lot. >_<

well, honostly thats not for me to judge ^^ its early stage in the game, and stuff that might be considerd as good play now might have good counterplay / be considerd bad play later on.

personally: i think its cool that you implemented the disc move more (early in the match a lot) and i think you use the neutral-air a lot. It's a good move, but just like the back-air, it has a big start up time, so hard to use in my opinion. good match :)

yes, i agree that the start up times make bair/nair tough to use, but they ruin pretty well, esp. the bair. ROB's nair has some pretty solid priority though, and the range is shocking at first. i'd really like to improve my off-edge game, preferably gimp some recoveries or get some quick sideouts, but it'll be tough to get used to .=P

Very good videos guys. Keep it up. I am glad more people have taken up the MEGAZORD banner and have been pwn'in face with R.O.B. A little note about the laser, if you are having trouble, just keep an eye on the little red light on top of R.O.B.'s head. When you use the laser it turns off, when the laser can be used again it will go back to red.

Yeah, that was my third time playing ROB, but I like how he handles so he'll most likely be my second.

I'll use the disk less often, too.

Pretty good match between Chimp playing R.O.B. and Hiroshi playing Diddy. I liked the first combo by Chimp, but he should've kept it going with an up tilt or the smash where he spins with his arms out.

good tip, also a way to see when the disk can be charged again? (because it wont happen if you just shot a disc. can you do it again when the previous disc has disappeared?)

Yes once you shoot a disc, you can't charge another until the first is gone. I've actually had players pick up my disc after I shot it and just hold on to it just to prevent me from shooting any more :P.

I find it interesting that ROB gets 2 projectiles, but both limit how often you use them. So ROB can't "spam" projectiles like most other characters that have them, despite having 2 very good projectiles. Its a good balancing factor I feel, and makes ROB players have to think more about when to use their projectiles instead of just throwing them any random moment no one is nearby hoping to get a few free hits in.
