well, in a sense they did nerf him.
look at FLUDD. sure its a cool aspect but i mean really? come on.
doing the rising tornado was one of my good things. after perfecting it with luigi, who i used to main before swapping to his older bro, i was doing the tornado a lot.
im not sure if you can rise his dair but im almost positive you cant.
so, in a sense, they nerfed him a little bit but what they did for his recovery and fireballs more than make up for it id like to think =D

i was/still am a big fireball spammer in melee xD

I'm DEFINETLY true about this. Mario IS my main.

Mario is a monster with his Meteor Smash, and his Final Smash is very effective. Two spirals circling around a large beam scanning straight across the screen. WOW!

I give up all chances to main Luigi! Luigi is the Second Player! The underling!

I have also been maining Mario since the n64 days. I also mained ness, but they made him so bad in Melee I was forced to drop him... I guess people tell me I should have dropped Mario too, but now he is better in relation to the others in Brawl. Anyway, Mario will definately retain the main position, so count me in. I am unsure of the requirements of this but I'll be back to check every so often. I'll certainly be happy to train with ya'll.
