At 4:30, Nana spams ice blocks, DI's forward a little, and does a solo belay to recover!
Nana's AI has at least been improved in that sense.
Also: this vid gives a solid representation of how the IC's move so far. A little sluggish compared to melee, but desynching and grab desynch possibilities are still yet to be discovered.
EDIT: New find:

At 3:50, Nana does a triple jump to meet up with Popo in the air.

DUDE! check out 3:46! Squall hammer is in Solo Nana's moveset!
But at the same time, they nerfed the distance you can go with dual squal.
AWESOME Nana recovery. Yes!

Three jumps is definitely more than one jump. I cried with joy.

Yeah, but it also seems to lag like a beast. =\

I think someone noted that Nana was actually doing a footstool jump, though I didn't catch it myself.

Nana also attacks enemies faster if Popo is being attacked. Look at 00:45, Nana attacked almost immediately after Popo got grabbed.

I'm pretty sure there was a footstool jump in there, so no Nana superjump. It does look like Nana has a much smarter AI though, and the Half-Tether Recovery with their Up-B is a welcome addition. I think the problem people are having with Ice Climbers is the same as the one with Yoshi. The characters play so differently from their Melee counterparts people are labeling them as low tier candidates (a ridiculous assumption so early into the metagame). I'm sure with time, the IC's faster moves will catch on and lend to a completely new style of Ice Climber play.
