Remember how in Melee you had two screams on connect at hgher %s, one when you were close to 100% and one where you had a lot of percentage and were close to/would die? I'm assuming Brawl has two as well, which is why I'm calling it the "1st scream".

In Brawl, Peach's 1st scream comes out late for some illogical reason. She'll have been launched off the stage and half-way towards the killzone before she utters it! It's all very strange and it's just asking for a clash with the Death Scream (if she DI:s an attack so she'll be killed off the side).

Replace "Peach" with "everyone" and you will be correct.

Oh? Of course, the Peach vids were the first ones I watched that were capped and not filmed and thus had a lot of noise obscuring the screams. So it's like this with everyone now (literally everyone)?

You got a good example vid for this argument?

Hmm, that is weird. Maybe the game feels of like when the person is certain to die or not. Like as you said there are two types. the close to death scream and the certain death scream.

It seems the close to death scream only happens when you're thrown far enough as to where the magnifier glass appears. Then the certain scream one would be when you're hit REALLY hard and is pretty sure you're gonna die.

Because of the invention of DI, the game feels like if you DI, you've a chance of living, thus by sometimes missing the timing of either the close to death scream and the certain death scream.

Also, after looking at one of the videos, that her counter can actually kill at high percentage. Yeahuz =D

Yeah, no, that's probably not it. Listen to the timing of the scream. It's illogical and unrealistic. Who the hell waits 1+ seconds between getting hit by a powerful move with a lot of knockback and letting out an exclamation of pain because of it?
