It looks like the up air is falcons main move. He also still seems pretty fast and very capable of punishing mistakes. It also appears that the knee can very easily be DIed up reducing it's KO potential, but most characters have a similar problem.

Also captain falcon retains his very low priority, so his game will probably rely a lot on speed, spacing, and timing (which is nothing new). Dash dancing seems pretty wierd, but if it isn't usable captain can still use empty short hops to trick opponents and adjust space.

Looks like Lee got the new Falcon down, at least some aspects of his new game, anyway.

I agree, his uair rush looks beastly in this game. I loved that move in melee, but the knee was just better. I'll probably miss the sick knee combos, but I can get used to a more mind games-style play... I like that better anyway, makes for cool matches. Combos are always nice though. XP

One thing I noticed that Lee did in one of his first Falcon videos against Falco was the dash-into-c-smash techinque where you slide and do your smash attack. With the nair approach completely gone (i never saw him connect with it once) could this be an alternate move-in to the Raptor Boost? Cause it's easy to shield, maybe even easier now. Whiffs aren't as bad, but the combo potential (that i've seen) is greatly reduced. Perhaps a dash Usmash (I was told it got buffed in killing power, I saw it too) could be a good move-in? Dsmash got buffed in speed and range slightly, Fsmash seems the same.

Or maybe it's totally useless and I'm just spewing crap. It's been known to happen. XP

One thing I want to try is see how useful the Falcon Punch is, since the knee took a hit in how hard it is to connect, and I heard the punch is faster and easily reversed, could this be a new KO move? Unfortunately Lee refuses to touch it or the Falcon Kick. (He used the second for recovery, but nothing else) =(

Bah, I can't wait to just try it out myself. >.<

I'm going to have to dissagree with the Nair being unusable. I just saw a video (I'll try to find it and link it) where some body had a 3 Nair combo. He nearly got the fourth too if I remember right. BRB, I'ma go look for that vid.

Found it.

Watch at 2:17 and again at 2:50. Sick combo ability.

You're probably thinking of this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Shfk871riNM

3 nair combo at 2:46. It kind of looked like Ganon could've jumped out of it, but not sure.

yeah I think I might have to take that statement about the n-airs back. It might be the fact the hitbox is new and he was trying to hit with the old one.

I did see that video, which made me rethink that the nair is still useful--

But could gimpy have escaped? Some people say he could have. I don't see why he wouldn't if he could though.. Maybe he didn't know?

Another thing people have been saying is that maybe it only works on heavier, taller characters, and not on lighter ones.

Want to see some more Falcon vs. Fox/Falco/Marth matches to see how this goes..
