In SSBM i mained link and samus. From what i have read, samus's range attacks have been nerfed. So what i want to know is if link, overall, has been nerfed or buffed?

I'm pretty sure he's been buffed.
His speed is up, his combos are better, his up smash is better, among other things, I'm sure.
Pretty much the the only nerfed thing about him, that I know of, is his Spin Attack. Everything else looks all around better IMO.

I also hear his projectiles have been buffed. I believe they shoot out faster, and I'm fairly certain his bombs have more knock back.

i think he is mainly completely buffed except for his ground sword spin, in this vid http://youtube.com/watch?v=BFF_3U1cSt8 it looks really nerfed compared to meleee but i think thats because it can be charged, but im still pretty disappointed that was a good move.

Yep... The bomb can kill in a sudden death match. And his boomerang's tornado ability is a plus. And I think the arrow has a greater distance without being charged.

I DO recall there being a thread that already adressed this issue.
And for the record, he's pretty much unanimously considered to be better than before. According to the likes of Gimpyfish or Egruntz, it's not TOO huge of an improvement, but it's a definate one no less.

Buffed in my opinion, but try to make more interesting threads other then stupid questions next time.

UpB Spin Attacks are so easy to punish in melee because of the awful end lag. Spamming it isn't cheap or broken because anyone that is even somewhat decent knows how to own that strat. >.>
It does suck that the spike is gone and the move in general has less knockback but it seems to have abit less end lag and still can kill without charging it up but takes higher damage to do so this time around. The best thing about it tho is, it still serves it's purpose as a Combo Break aka get off me move to get some more space. Link has plenty of kill moves and doesn't need this one as much as people think. Also his speed buffs, range buffs, and better projectile game looks very impressive. I think if the uncharged ground spin attack does have less end lag, that this will only help Link in the long run instead of nerf like everyone else seems to think.
Link got much needed buffs imo.

The upB spike was already removed in later versions of Melee, so it's obvious that it wasn't going to be in Brawl.

Due to lack of L cancelling, his aerials are pretty slow however. Especially his Down A. (Please don't turn this into a pro v casual debate).

True, if you miss a D air, your more then likely to be punished but his F air has hardly any end lag with wonderful knockback and so does his sex kick. Link has skill with his projectile combos and attacks like his double F smash with good spacing and F air/N air for approach. Up tilt and U air is great for juggling. His grab is really good as long as you don't miss which means wonderful for defense or maybe a surprise in offense because it almost has no startup lag. With alot of strong attacks, knockback will still slide you back abit, even with a shield up, kinda like sliding slightly away from the opponent, so it will be harder for some chars to shield grab that don't have ranged grabs in brawl.

I'm just a lot better, I'm really good at telling the truth.
