View Full Version : What the hell Marth trips?

I didn't see this anywhere, but from the looks of it, Marth occasionally trips. It may be caused by dash dancing or something. I'm not sure why, but here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPO02OOtMFA it happens at 2:56 and again at 3:08.

so thats why they put marth in brawl... so they could make him trip because everybody said marth was better than roy. even though nintendo said roy was better

dantemasta-everybody trips in brawl, not just Marth. The problem is, we haven't figured out exactly what causes the tripping.

Sorry for being so rude man. Guess I'm just kinda tense right now. So many random arguements in the brawl boards. I don't know why I even bother.

At least we have a few constructive people there though.

Heh, I must admit, when Marth trips, it's quite funny. Still, I wonder why characters trip? Not to mention, it seems to be somewhat random....

Is it caused by trying to WD, perhaps? Nintendo must be trying to tell us WD'ing is bad ... :p

Nope. When you WD, you just jump with invincibility frames from the airdodge.

I'm sure it has something to do with the beginning dash animation and the running animation.

the middle of the game they are like " YOU JUST TRIPPED!!! lets spend a couple of minutes trying to do it."

There are already several threads for this. One is mine. Use the search button in the future. And we have confirmation that many characters other than Marth trip. Sorry kids, but tripping is by no means a curse to make Marth more balanced.
