quick question about marios f-air

a friend told me he seen in gameplay that it works like dr. marios f-air from melee now, and that its no longer a meteor smash..has anyone else seen or heard of this?

Mario's F-air is BOTH a Meteor AND a kill move.

When the fist moves horizontally, it's a kill move. When it goes down, it sends people down. That simple.

yea but all i asked waz if someone seen it in brawl...i know how the fist works i main mario in melee its jus i didnt want his move to not be a meteor in brawl b-cuz thats wat im hearing..but if ur talking about brawl then ur info helps lol

He is talking about in Brawl. In Melee it was always a Meteor Smash. In Brawl, its a Meteor Smash part of the time and the same as Doc's FAir the rest of the time, depending on what part of the animation it is in. They basically combined Doc and normal Mario's FAir into a single move.

Go back and watch the very first (the VERY FIRST) video released for Brawl. It shows the deck (Mario's F-air) hitting two people at the same time, with BOTH effects. The video is at www.smashbros.com, it's real easy to find.
