who hated R.O.B. at first, but liked him after seeing some footage?

yeah, i really hated the idea of R.O.B. being in brawl at first, but after seeing some footage of his moves, he looks like a really interesting, unique character. has anyone else been converted?

I was unsure about rob, but after seeing it play it looks awesome. It seems to have one of the best recoveries in the game, it's a mean dancer, and the face that nobody expected it makes it the perfect wtf character. While Geno will be sorely missed, I don't blame ROB, and without ROB's clever trickery I might not know who any of these characters are. ROB will be one of my favorites for sure.

My first reaction was "Who the **** is ROB?"
So I looked it up. Wikipedia gave little hope, because they neglected to mention that he's packing jetboosters. And laser vision.

Now I think he's going to be among my favourite characters, right up there with Peach, Zamus and Olimar.

When I first heard of R.O.B. I was against him. When I saw a picture, I wanted him to be in. When I saw "Do the R.O.B.", I loved him more. Now, he is one of the newcomers I can't wait to play (along with Red, Pit, Olimar, Wolf, Ike, and Lucario).

No, because most of his moves are based on robot cliches like lazers and jets. The only thing that's even slightly creative about his moveset is the Gyromite but that's not all that interesting either and is basically the only thing about that's actually come from something.

When I first heard ROB was going to be in Brawl I thought that it was completely stupid, then I realized I didn't know who the hell ROB was. Then after seeing clips of him in the SSE, I got so infuriated, especially just finding out at the time that Mewtwo (my Melee main) got the boot. Then, a few weeks later of mourning and acceptance, I began watching actual ROB footage - I was amazed. Not only was his moveset awesome, but he's a freaking robot, and not even the Optimus Prime type robot, I mean he's a robot. ALL HAIL ZE MACHINES!

Nowadays he's one of my potential main characters. Weird eh.

Actually the first time I saw R.O.B. in action was when t0mmy destroyed me with him...he has some serious potential and I'm pretty sure he is one of the better characters in the game.
