View Full Version : Lag in Ike's Counter trigger?

In the Japanese video of today's update(which can be viewed via Japanese site), Ike, Snake, Mario and Kirby are doing a 1 minute Brawl on Delfino Plaza. No, Ike doesn't win, they all get dominated by Kirby.

However, early in the movie the Ike player spams Counter for a few seconds(3 Counters in less than 5 secs)while in between everyone and gets hit several times, EVEN AFTER THE INVINCIBILITY FRAMES die out. After being Inhaled by Kirby which was the last time we seen him using Counter for the match, yet, it never triggers ONCE? My remark was indeed "WTF?!"

I know, I know, if under certain conditions, you get this in Melee too from both Marth and Roy. But it's been too long to remember what those conditions were.

Does anyone have a possible explanation?

okay first he assumes the position......then the counter frames (which any atk that touhes him he counters).....then the CFs stop then he goes out of position

good?

it seemed like exactly marths and roys

Okay, I believe you just described what's supposed to happen but not the problem itself.

The Counter frames in that video are clearly shown but the ability doesn't activate.

Oh, I hated when that happened in Melee... Hmmmm, maybe just a glitch. >_>

By the way, you coulda posted this in the Ike's Counter topic...but oh well! ^_^

That also happened by buffering down attacks and then being sent flying out of the stage. You'll end doing a dair.
