For now, the WRs/total lists on the smashvrs forums is updated fairly quickly by the moderators there. SWF just isn't equipped well enough right now to handle updating them (we'd need some more people moderating *cough*)

The bat drop technique is waaaayy to hard to pull off for me

Using non-advanced techniques (i.e. batdrop), I was able to get 2000 ft with Fox, Falco, Wolf, Bowser, Pokemon Trainer, and Ganondorf. I just recently surpassed my goal of 1700 ft with everyone.

the sad thing is that before i knew adv tech, i thought the most technical part of it was actually bat dropping

Also, I swear I saw a Ganondorf video on YouTube by some Japanese guy, (it was in the Japanese language, meaning that the metric system was different) and he hit 9000 feet. And that was in the JAPANESE language. So really, that's over.. 12,000 feet or something? Maybe I didn't see it in the list... and it wasn't a cheat or glitch or anything... I wonder if I can find the YouTube video.....

If those are the records, I'M A CRAP IN MELEE's HOME-RUN CONTEST!! How do players damage the sandbag without it getting out of the platform in just 10 seconds!? My highest records in Melee's Home-run contest are around the 700 feet. I was started on Melee on August 29, 2008. I bought it used because I never played it before AND I never had a nintendo Gamecube, and I would like to compare it with BRAWL. I don't know if this is normal, but in my copy of Melee, the Home-run Contest's main platform is not protected by a glass-like barrier, like in BRAWL's Home-run Contest.
