Peach couldn't break out of her cage because her Dsmash got nerfed (which it did). Obviously from this fact, we can assume that Zelda is still an awful character in Brawl.

She's a princess. Once captured, she isn't allowed to do ANYTHING till some form of a masculine character comes and goes through pain and agony to do something she could've done on her own. It's in her contract. Look it up.
