About Marios Final Smash...

Isn't it a bit ridiculous?
I mean, he's MARIO for Gods sake. Why is his FS almost a complete copy from Samus'?

Mario is a videogame icon, and could've had a very original Final Smash like, well I don't know, making pipes appear everywhere? Giving him a yellow cape and make him destroy 2/3 of the scenery? Releasing a zombie mushroom? Eating a potato?
Yet Sakurai still saddles him up with a generic "Advanced Smash Attack" i.e. the fireball.

It's just my 2 cents, so don't take this matter too serious but what do you think?

I think his final smash is sweet and it does look awsome. Plus his first real powerup is the fire flower that is why i think that it should be something to do with fire.

Because mario's FS is probably the coolest and one of the best final smashes in the game. MK will still pwn though :P

Mm, I don't mind Mario as long as he doesn't start attacking or brainwashing DK. So as long as he doesn't set DK's hair on fire, I'm okay.
Gah. Mario's Final Smash is kind of an ultra-powered-up Fireball. It suits him somewhat, I suppose.

i like marios final smash. it is great really, however, i don't think it is mario apropriate. think about it. in his games he can have no more than 2 fireballs on screen at one time. if they were true to his game's it might be somthing else. wheres the butt stomp!!! i think this could be it, revel in how awsome it is. he stomps through the stage, with the "meteor butt" from sunshine. larger hitbox than it appears, but nothing to seriously huge, hes not that fat.( tee hee, i rhymed!!) now the cool. he rips the stage in 2 temparoly, then auto wall jumps back up. you can throw the gravel, cause sakari likes that kind of thing.

but almost 2 weeks till it hits japan so tough luck... my fingers hurt.
i take that back, forgot about rpg... but not deleting that because i worked so hard on it *sniff*

to me it looks like either a dbz ultra ripoff, or a million fire balls. but i guess it could be 2 big balls. . . . of fire. i will now look at this fs in a different way.

Well maybe the horizontal blast is similar in appearance to Samus'. Other than that they have completely different properties.

Mario's FS looks real sinister and all, but IMO it's not that creative. They should have had him turn into Rainbow Mario or something that relates to his games. But it'll probably be real fun to hit people with it though.

Plus I prefer calling it the 'Burning Inferno'. 'Mario Finale' sounds weak.

he basically has no flaws, and isnt over powered.
and his final smash is basic to use. just like how mario should be

Its not a complete copy marios deals fire damage and it is wider the the Zero laser

plus the zero laser does multi damage while the mario finale can only do a max of 2 hit's(but they do deal some good damage and it's range is far better :chuckle:)

It's nothing special. That's my point. Graphicly it might be awesome, but the unoriginal "SUPER FIREBEAM-attack" works on any character. Why did Mario get this cr... junk when there are about one hundred more possibilities?

it's not unoriginal it was on SM RPG,:urg:no one knows that game for some reason T_T
