The eye colors are different...

Can anyone explain?

Maybe it has to do with kirby's natural colour? Sorry, I don't really know because there were never any games or episodes of kirby wearing a mask like that =(.

Kirby's eyes = blue

blue+yellow=green

Another possible theory is that the eye color is the inverted color of the character wearing the mask. Green inverts to a kind of pink for Kirby, and yellow inverts to a kind of blue for Meta Knight.

In the Anime, Metaknights eye color changed on his mood. Green means Seriousness. So basically it might be the mask that causes this. So when kirby sucks up Metaknight, he gets serious about winning I suppose.

I think his eyes changed too. In Super Star, when you play Meta Knight's revenge, you can see red/pink eyes in the intro...
