instead of having fan character-eque losers like Silver, Blaze,Black Doom, and Mephilles, how about forgotten classic Sonic characters like Nack the Weasel/Fang the Sniper, Mighty, Bark, Bean, Tails Doll:psycho: and others appearing as assist trophies or characters in Sonic's story

I don't think so. As awesome as it would be to see Nack again, he needs to do it in a Sega game, not a game where Sonic's making a Guest Appearance.

And believe it or not, there are people who like the four characters you mentioned in the OP. Try to be less aggressive, you'll convince more people with eloquence.

Sorry but c'mon: kitty princess, Silver. Hedgehog. from the future. with psychic powers., generic alien badguy, and bad shadow repaint with a goofy laugh yeesh, if I want to see characters like these guys, i'd go to Fanfiction.net or deviantart. Proffesor Von Schimer and the most silly Aosth character you can think of are much more compelling then these losers

Actually none of those characters originated from the comic. I think characters such as Bean & Bark appeared in Sonic the Fighters. While Tails Doll and Metal Knuckles appeared in Sonic R (And technially Sonic Advance >_>). Nack did appear in a Sonic the Fighters as well. But now he's pretty much a full fledged Archie character for now. I doubt any of these characters will return though. Unlike Vector, Charmy, and Espio.

In fact, nearly all of the forgotten characters listed are from the old Genesis/Sega CD games except:

Bark can rot for all I care. He could have easily been replaced with Vector in StF and no one would have noticed.

Amy is not a forgotten character in anyway. Even if she isn't on par in Popularity with the others. She still manages to have some type of role in every Sonic game to please most of the Female Sonic fans. She even got a role as playable in Mario & Sonic. When she is considered the Peach of the Sonic team. So Amy should not even be mentioned in "Forgotten characters". (As for Fleetway Amy, that only happened because in the U.K. a Female Indivulization group was around. If they were not there, Amy whould still be the same "annoying whiny girl" that she is IYO as the games. The fleetway comic is weird anyway IMO)

As for Sally, she is not a forgotten character UNOFFICIALLY. Since she still has a prominent role in the Comics, as for games. She has only appeared in cameos such as in Sonic Spinball and if you can count all the comic scans in Sonic Mega Collection. Amy was orginally going to be Sally in what perhaps was a prototype of the Manual of Sonic CD. But a New character was made instead. So technially Sally is in fact a forgotten character in the games, but is not forgotten in the area she 1st appeared in: The Comics. And thus, 1st appearing in Comics breaks the 1st rule of Sakauri's character role. Sally won't even get a mention in Brawl

None of the characters you said have been forgotten by Sonic fans, if you haven't ever seen a Sonic sprite comic that has a good storyline then I guess this threads alright, but lost's of people use every single character you guys said as characters thanks to the Mystical Forest Zone. <_<

These guys make me smile on the inside. I love Nack, Bean, and Ray. Bark... eh, who cares. But Fang/Nack had some serious style, Bean had the most inventive style of fighting in the game he was from (Only character I know of that can hurt themselves) and Ray is classic. I'd take out any character that appeared in Sonic Heroes and onward, having Shadow and Rouge not return at all. I'm glad Espio has been somewhat revived. He was an awesome character.

Also, the guy above me is correct. I really wish they'd update InSONICnia again...

Fang is one of my favorite videogame characters of all time. (Yeah, weird, I know, but he's do dang awesome to me) I would love love LOVE it if Fang was a sticker or trophy. I'm personally hoping for trophy so I can learn even more about him. :chuckle: I mean, if they can put freaking Silver the darn freaking stupid generically psychic Hedgehog in as a sticker, why not put Fang in as a sticker/trophy?

Err... Sorry for mentioning Amy! I mistook the topic.
Then, what about Scratch and Grounder? They appeared not only in the TV show Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog but even in the game Dr.Robotnick's Mean Bean Machine, if I'm not wrong.
Personally, I would love if Bunnie Rabbot was in the game, even just as AT, but I strongly dubt that is possible.

I really don't see the point of this topic, only character like Fang, Bean and Mighty actually belong in the games.
There's 0% chance of any character coming from the Archie comics or any other media beside SegaSonic(The games).

They all suck, the only forgotten Sonic character that I would want to see is Commander Brutus too bad he's STC exclusive. :(
