kirby's victory song

hey this may be a dumb question but i was wondering, could meta knight's victory song also be kirby's or dedede's? what do you guys think? i hope it is cause it sounded so cool in the demos.:chuckle:

characters from the same franchise tend to have the same victory music, or at least thats how its been in the previous games, so yes, kirby and dedede will probably have metaknights victory music

simply put, no. Meta Knight just has a different tune, because Sakurai thought it fit him better then Kirby's current one. nothing more. Kirby will have his original one, and Dedede will either have Kirby's, Meta Knights, or his own.

I also wouldn't be surprised if other characters from the same franchise got different victory tunes. Bowser needs a Heavy Metal version for his.

Because the heavy metal rock song doesn't match Kirby OR Dedede. I actually doubt that they'll have Meta knight's song. They may have a VARIATION of it, but I don't see Sakurai giving Kirby a rock victory song. Yeah, it's nice and sounds great but not for Kirby. Kirby's had the same victory theme since 64 (only with a modified arrangement).

As for other characters, I don't think it's the same case with everyone because there aren't such distinct differences between ALL the characters from the other franchises. On top of that, this is not Melee. This is Brawl. On the wii. They have more power and capabilities. They have the best musicians in the business. Sakurai makes it necessity to remind us of that at EVERY turn. I really don't think they're going to let those musicians go to waste. What's wrong with giving each character a variation of their main theme song? I can see Mario, Peach, Bowser and Luigi having different variations. Same with the other franchises.

Music is plays a MAJOR role in Brawl as we can tell from the updates on the Dojo and Sakurai's enthusiasm about the game's music. I just don't see them taking the easy way out and sticking a theme song that doesn't match the character onto everyone, just because one character in the franchise has it. And in the case of Kirby, MK and Dedede, it's not even the main character. If they were sticking Kirby's theme with MK and Dedede, I could see your point better, but sticking MK's theme with Kirby and Dedede?

Then there are others that are so separate from one another they should not share any part of their music's feel (Kirby and Meta, Ike and Marth, Samus and Ridley, Peach and Koopa).

I'm hoping that characters from the same series but not sharing much else in common have different victory themes.

Exactly! That's why it doesn't make sense for Kirby and MK to have that same rock theme. It just doesn't fit Kirby's character and I just don't see Sakurai sticking that theme with Kirby. If they were going to do that, then it would be MK with KIRBY's theme. Not the other way around.
