This Topic will be showing your ideas for Move sets for other sonic characters (video game characters only, for the mean time). You can compare, discuss and make the perfect move set, for e.g. Knuckles. Also i want to give a big shout out the Meta_Sonic64 for making the idea of this topic. Thank You Meta_Sonic64.
Anyways here is my list of move sets for Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Espio... You can add your own move set here to show us your ideas, and remember there are no wrong ideas, only stupid ideas. Well here is my list anyway. (Requests for Move sets for characters will be done by me or anyone else who will offer).

Knuckles "Knux" the Echidna:
Knuckles is a red, powerful echidna with sharp knuckles. He made his debut on February 2, 1994 via Sonic the Hedgehog 3. He is known to have dreadlocks and a crescent birthmark on his chest. Knuckles possesses mighty strength, ability to dig and glide, and 2 sharp knuckles on each of his fist and he is very gullible. Knuckles likes to be alone and takes everything seriously. Knuckles can be a little hot-headed over some things and seems to be easily frustrated(in which Sonic refers to him as "Knuckle-head") Knuckles lives on Angel Island, where his task since birth has been to protect the Master Emerald. Knuckles is Sonic's rival and in some cases they do have disagreements, which usually results in a battle that goes to no contest(either a disturbance or a truce). Even though they don't always see eye to eye, Knuckles and Sonic usually team up together for their troubles. Knuckles has appeared in several Sonic games as well as comics and anime. (NOTE: I may change or update this from time to time).
Stats
Speed- Knuckles is known to be slow, but not sloooooow. Knuckles will be a tad bit slower than Mario(correct me if I'm wrong)
Weight- Knuckles isn't really heavy and would weigh a little bit more than Sonic
Moveset
Throws
Z -(Grab)- Knuckles grabs the opponent with both hands
Z, A-(Punch)- Knuckles holds the opponent with one hand while punching with the other
Z, >-(Sock'em)-Knuckles lets go of his opponent, puts both fist together and socks the opponent in the face (think of Vegeta, it's similar to his attack)
Z, <-(Rolling Throw)- Knuckles takes his opponent and and does a backward somersault to throw his opponent
Z, v-(Beat Down)- Knuckles throws the opponent down and unleashes many punches to the stomach
Z,/\-(Throw)-Knuckles uses both hands, turns around and throws the opponent up
Normal Attacks (Ground)
A,A,A -(punch combo)- Knuckles does three consecutive punches
>A -(Punch)- A simple punch to the face.
vA -(Body Shot)- Knuckles punches the enemy in the stomach
/\A -(Uppercut)- Knuckles does a normal uppercut.
Dash A -(Spin Attack)- Knuckles will curl into a ball and hit the opponent(similar to Sonic, but weaker)
Normal Attacks (Air)
A -(Mid-air punch)- Knuckles does a plain punch, this time in mid-air.
>A -(Super punch)- Knuckles does a powerful punch(similar to Mario, but knocks the opponent back instead of down)
<A -(Backfist)- Knuckles hits and back punch and spins afterward(similar to C. Falcon)
vA -(Double fist slam)- Knuckles uses both his fist and slams down on an opponent(similar to DK)
/\A -(Skyward Punch)- Knuckles swings his fist up while spinning around
Smash Attacks
>A -(Might Punch)- Knuckles simply unleashes a powerful punch with high knockback ability
vA -(Sweeping punch)- Knuckles punches the opponent's legs
/\A -(Power Uppercut)- Knuckles kneels down and unleashes a powerful uppercut
Special Moves
B -(Fire Punch)-Knuckles will move forward a bit and unleash a flaming punch(has lag after performing, but can be comboed by hitting the B button 3 times max)
>B -(Shockwave)- Knuckles will punch the ground with so much force that it triggers a tremor, or fault-like attack along the ground, which hits the opponent(distance attack)
vB -(Drill Attack)- Knuckles will dig underground and will attack when he pops up(similar to MK's cape, in which you can dig in any direction you want for a certain period of time)
vB(air)-(Drill Claw)- Knuckles will spin with his claws pointing down in a spiral in a downward direction towards the ground(this attack may trap the opponent like MK's Triple Dash)
/\B -(Sky Uppercut)- Knuckles will unleash a powerful uppercut in a spiral
Other Abilities
Gliding-self explanatory(MK, Pit, and Charizard)
Wall Climbing-if Knux is added this could be a new feature
Final Smash
Master Emerald-Knuckles will call upon the Master Emerald, which will then float down from the top of the screen toward the ground and generate a huge bright light around it once it reaches the ground(explosion/Chaos Control, that looks similar to Vegeta's Final Explosion, but the energy is white) Knuckles will be invulnerable to the Master Emerald's Chaos Control.
Taunt
Knuckles will fold his arms and mumble something
Knuckles will punch his fist together
Knuckles Alternate Costumes
Hyper Knuckles(Pink)- Knuckles Appear as Hyper Knuckles or in Pink recoloring
Sinbad the Sailor-Knuckles appears as Sinbad(from SSR)
Young Knuckles- Knuckles appear as he very first appeared in the Sonic cartoon, with his detective hat and etc.
Tikal or One of the Echidna People-Knuckles will appear as Tikal or one of his species from the past before the emerald incident(with tape on the dreadlocks and etc.)
Stage
Angel Island- Similar to the Battlefield stage. It has the Master Emerald in the background and the stage is over the ocean. Occasionally the Master Emerald will glow and disappear from it's position(Chaos Control) and the stage will fall down to the ocean. When the Master Emerald reappears, the stage will float back up into the sky into its original position above the ocean. The stage can change from day to night. Sometimes Chao will float above the stage and deliver items (like Shy Guys).

Now i must say, That is how you do a very good move set. Mine are very brief ideas, Meta_Sonic 64 actually puts them into detail.
I like the idea for his Final Smash, its original and also makes sense. However wouldn't his temper and short fuse work well as a final smash as well? He is known for his temper and maybe he gets stronger but harder to control?

A: Left jab 2%

Tails would have a bar below his profile, showing how much longer he can fly, if it runs out,
he will fall to the ground (a very slow freefall) ,making him defenceless against enemy attack. When not flying, his fly guage (or bar) will regain slowly. Pressing the Shield button will cancel his flight. Tails can grab both enemies and allies whilst flying.
Standard Special: Ring Bomb:
Tails will throw a Ring Bomb, throwing it is similar to Yoshi's Egg Toss. Moves very slow through the air, when landing on the ground, small explosions will appear next to it, causing 4% each and low knockback, if you manage to directly hit an enemy with it, it will do 14% damage and good knockback. Very hard to hit with though.
When used in air, it will be used the same as on the ground, if used whilst flying however, Tails will drop it directly below him.
Side Special: Tail Twister: (seen in Sonic Adventure)
Tails will spin horizontally along the ground, can be charged up. If used in the air he will do it vertically instead of horizontally, except when flying.
Down Special: Chao Cannon:
Tails pulls out a chao cannon, and shoots an omochao out of it. it bounces of walls and platforms and enemys for up to three times, then explodes, shooting another omochao will cause the previous one to explode if still on the stage. Is used the same as cracker launcher whist on the ground and flying.
Up special: Cyclone Dash:
Tails zooms into the air, if he comes in contact will an opponent, he will immediatly go to flight mode and grab the enemy.
Final Smash: The Tornado:
The Tornado will suddenly appear, Tails gets in, and then can shoot enemies above with missiles, after about ten seconds, the tornado will malfuntion, landing on the stage and exploding for huge knockback.
Tails would be incredible for recovery, but would be very light to balance this out. His flight not only allow him to recover, but would keep him away from opponents, see he can rack up damage with projectiles, and his flight can be used to grab enemies to meteor smash (throwing enemies down to their doom) or help team members by grabbing them and carrying them safely to the stage.

Miles "Tails" Prower

Playing style:Uses evasive maneuvers while hitting opponents with a few quirky inventions, not to mention traditional attacks. Average strength, a bit more powerful than Sonic due to his more technical attacks.
Speed:A fast character, slightly slower than Captain Falcon. Obviously runs by spinning his tails like propellers.
Taunt: He spins around, faces to the left or right (with his eyes towards you) and gives a thumbs-up.
Victory music:The classic “Act Clear” jingle. Preferably from Sonic 2 or 3.
Behind-lives-counter icon:Sonic Team logo
Alternate colors:
Normal color covers red team color.
- Light blue fur. (Blue team)
- Green fur. (Green team)
- Black and red fur.
Ground A moves:
A: A punch 1-4%
AA: A second punch 2-3%
AAA: Tails whip 2-5%
Forward A: Single-leg kick. 2-6%
Forward A smash: He uses a gun that launches a boxing glove punch. Like his Sonic Battle move. 4-13%
Dash A – He slides forward with his feet out. 2-9%
Down A: He spins on his tails, with his feet out. 2-7%
Down A smash: He whips each tail in a different direction. 9-16%
Up A: He does a backflip with both feet out. 3-10%
Up A smash: Same boxing glove move as forward A smash, only upwards. 8-17%
Air A moves:
A: He spins into a ball, with his tails spinning around it. 7-15%
A forward: Kick with both feet. 9-14%
A down: He falls down while spinning his tails like propellers beneath him, damaging opponents caught in them. 6-11%
A up: He whips his tails up. 2-14%
A back: He kicks his feet back. 3-15%
B moves:
B: Rhythm Spin – Tails spins around on one foot, damaging opponents with his tails. If you perform it for too long though, he’ll get dizzy and won’t be able to move for a bit (like if his shield broke).
B>: Energy Cannon – Tails uses a his energy cannon to shoot a energy projectile, chargeable for greater power and distance.
B^: Propeller Flight – Tails uses his tails like helicopter blades to fly a medium distance. It’s more of a horizontal recovery move, but it does gain some vertical distance. Any opponents caught in his tails will be damaged rapidly, like Samus’s screw attack.
Bv: Trip Mine – Tails lays down a mine that, when touched by an opponent, detonates, causing light damage. Can also be manually detonated.
Throws:
Throw > - Tails throws the opponent forward with both hands. 3-12%
Throw < - He tosses the opponent over his shoulders and whacks them away with his tails. 4-10%
Throw ^ - He throws them upwards with his tails. 1-10%
Throw v – Tails pins the opponent on the ground and butt-stomps them. 4-12%
Grab attack – Head bonks.
Shield: He holds up a little device that creates a force field around him.
Final Smash:
Propeller Dunk:Tails picks the opponent up, flies high above the screen, and crashes down with them.

Good idea, and yours too, Holynightmare. I would rather that's Tails' flying ability be like Kirby/Jigglypuff's floating.

I suppose that would be easier and more simpler for Tails's flight, but I thought of something different to make him unique, like Samus and PT (make him more original)

-He is only meant to have the rocket move as a stunner to give him time to get prepared for a combo

-It is my personal opinion that Knuckles Grab Moveset Will not be original enough for me to spend time doing each one...

Metal Sonic

Specials
Up B: Rocket Boost:Metal Sonic uses the rocket engine in his torso to boost himself in any direction the player points the Control Stick.
This will act a bit like a combination of Mewtwo's teleport, and Fox's Fire Fox. It won't have much start up lag, but will be a bit harder to aim accurately. He will also stall in the air for a bit after the boost is complete, making him very easy to intercept. He will not be able to sweet spot the edge while in this move, and he must complete the stall animation before he can catch the ledge.
On the plus side, this would have a good amount of knockback and priority, making it near impossible to intercept him mid-recovery.
Neutral B: Torso Cannon: Metal Sonic curls, floating slightly above the ground (ala Sonic the Fighters), then uncurls, and fires a beam out of the intake on his stomach.
Similar to Samus' charge shot. The key differences being that you can't cancel it and store it, less knockback, and more of a Beam-like shape. Can be activated mid air, but it will have no effect on momentum, like the shine or similar moves.
Forward B: Spindash: He's gotta have at least one Sonic clone move, right? Identical to Sonic's, except for slightly better range, and less damage.
Down B: Black Shield: Metal Sonic curls, and a black, diamond shaped barrier forms around him, floating slightly above the ground.
In a contrast to the Reflector, this move is very slow. Think about a quarter second slower than the PSI Magnet. It will not be able to be jump canceled, and will have an ending lag of about half a second.
This move will block all attacks (including Final Smashes if you're fast enough with it), but every second using it, Metal Sonic will begin to gain damage by doubling intervals (1% 2% 4% 8%, and so on).
When he takes 100% damage in this fashion, his shield will break, and he will not be able to use the Black Shield for the rest of that stock. He will also suffer the same stun as if his bubble shield would have broken.
Standard Attacks
A: Claw Swipe
AA: Off-Hand Claw Swipe
This move suffers little to no lag, and has virtually no knockback. Think of it like Pikachu's standard combo.
Up Tilt: Claw Uppercut
Metal Sonic thrusts his claw into the air, and stabs anyone unlucky enough to be in it's path.Decent knockback,
Forward Tilt: Straight Kick:
Similar properties to Fox's Ftilt. But it will look more like a "boot to the face" type of kick, if that makes any sense. xP
Down Tilt: Foot Slice:
A claw slice at foot level. Pretty self explanatory.
Low damage, but knocks opponents high into the air. (think Falco's Dtilt, only not as drastic)
Smash Attacks
Up Smash: Jet Kick:
A lightning fast back flip kick powered by Metal Sonic's jet engine. Extremely fast, good knockback, but not great.
Forward Smash: Cross-slash:
Metal Sonic slices with both claws in an X pattern. Good damage, but not much knockback compared to the other characters.
Down Smash: Rocket Blast:
Metal Sonic falls onto his back, then blasts off of the ground with his rocket engine, creating a mini explosion. Great knockback, and can semi-spike.
Aerials
Neutral Aerial: Spin Jump:
Curl into a ball, and slice people. Simple hedgehog stuff, nothing to see here. Pretty much a sex kick without the kick.
Forward Aerial: Aerial Swipe:
Slashes one of his claws forward very fast. Similar knockback to Peach's Fair, but the small lag occurs after the attack, rather than before it.
Down Aerial: Metal Eagle:
A front flip spiking ax kick. noticable startup lag, and end lag.
Okay, Metal Sonic never used this move, so sue me. xP Sonic was the only one that ever did.
Back Aerial: Back Kick:
Pretty average, not much to see here. He kicks backwards doing minimal knockback and damage.
Grabs
Grab Attack: Claw Stab:
Only does 1% damage, but is very fast, and can be done in rapid succession.
Forward Throw: Jet Tackle:
Uses his jet engine to ram his opponents, doing decent knockback,with minimal stun and damage.
Down Throw: Spindash
Mimics Sonic's Dthrow. Throws them to the ground, and spindashes on them.
Back Throw: Metal Launcher:
Steps behind the opponent, and activates his rocket engine, throwing the opponent backwards with massive knockback.
Up Throw: Metal Driver:
Flies into the air bringing his opponent with him, then slams them into the ground on their head. Decent damage, not much knockback.
Final Smash
DNA Copy: Copies the Final Smash of the last person you came in contact with. (example: the last person you hit, or the last person that hit you)
All of the Final Smashes copied will have a Metal Sonic feel to them.
For example, when copying Bowser, Metal Sonic will become Metal Overlord, and have the same moves as normal, but the qualities of Giga Bowser. (Huge, and unflinching)

Nice move set, i like it :) pat yourself on your back. That FS would be deversating... just what about if its someone like Ice climbers or King Dedede or even Wario's FS? Will he become Neo Metal Sonic if he copies Wario?

Pit's FS would change into Buzz Bombers, who would have basically the same effect as Palutena’s Army.
Wario-man would become Either RocketMetal, or Neo Metal Sonic. They would use their jets to fly with their aerials, much as Wario-man does.
His Side Special would be given the ridiculously fast capability of Wario-man's Chopper, and any knockback it might have.
The Shoulder Tackle and Rapid punch would have their effects, only modified graphically to suit Metal Sonic. (using the jets for the tackle, etc.)
Samus' FS would be pretty much the same, except of course lacking the Zamus transformation. He'd charge it up in his jet intake instead of the Arm Cannon like Samus'
With Ike's, he would either extend his claws for extra reach, or add a small dash to make it actually possible to hit with, given the FSs already pathetic reach. Then he'd do the rest of the combo with his claws, with the exception of a jet powered slam to end it instead of Ike's sword strike.
The Pokemon Trainer is really a tough one...
I suppose he could either do it himself, or morph into the Trainer's Pokemon (only robotic so it's not a complete cop-out), then do the Triple Finish.
Diddy's is pretty simple. He uses his jet engine to fly around, and shoots out of the jet intake.
Metaknight's would be pretty much the same. He would probably use the weird liquid metal from Sonic Heroes in place of the cape.
There's no way around it, Lucas' would be identical, save the voice change.
Sonic's? Duh. Super Metal Sonic from Sonic 3, of course. (Although it can be argued that it isn't the same Metal Sonic...)
Dedede's would probably use the Rhino tank things. Their actual name escapes me. Tey were in Sonic 3 and Sonic Adventure if I'm not mistaken.
Mario Finale would be charged in his hands, as well as the intake. He'd probably shoot it standing in a different posture to aim the intake as well as his hands.
Triforce Slash is pretty simple as well. Trap them in the Triforce, and slice 'em up with his claws.
Cook would be a funny one to watch Metal Sonic do. He'd get the Chef hat, and the happy expression like Kirby.
Volt Tackle would remain pretty much unchanged. Maybe change the color of the electricity to give it more of a Metal Sonic feel.
He'd probably become the Landmaster instead of calling it in like Fox. And it'd have to look more spikey and blue.
For DK's, he could probably just use the Bongos, but that wouldn't be very creative. He'd probably use a drum set or something instead. Claws and Bongos don't mix. xD
For Yoshi's, he'd just start flying around with his Jet engine, and shoot fireballs/firestreams out of the engine intake.
Peach Blossom...okay, you have to admit, this one would be freaking hilarious. Metal Sonic dancing around with all the hearts? Priceless. xD
It'd probably function the same, except maybe with something other than peaches. Oil cans? Energy packs? Rings? I guess rings would be the better one.
And lastly, the Ice Climbers. He'd just get the FS aura, and summon the glacier.
Wow, that actually took a bit of thought. Fun though.

Ah an interesting idea, im glad you updated your idea for each character FS, Metal Sonic is kind of like Kirby with his copy technique. I wonder what Zelda and Snake's FS be and you can update that for us.

Metal Sonic has zero chance of making it into Brawl as anything other than an alternate, sadly. (Or if Sakurai was awesome, when Sonic got a Metal Box)

Pokemon Trainer-If somehow a flamethrower could be used in Metal Sonics Moveset (like Samus) All that would need to happen is the appearence of three guns morphing into one Beam
For DK's FS He could grow a pair of Huge Speakers and Start Blasting Music....
-Instead of Bongo Sounds its Heavy Metal With some rediculous drums or something (Maybe Hiphop)

Hey, I got one for Shadow with moves that haven't been used yet.
Up B: Chaos Control (We all know what this does.)
B: Chaos Spear (I think we also all know what this does.)
Smash B: Chaos Sphere (It's a Sonic Battle move where he throws a Sphere of energy at his opponents.)
B Down: Aceint Light (He charges it and then the player can tap B Down again to unleash it.)
Final Smash: Chaos Blast (No description necessary.)

ARK for the stage.
Omega's moveset would have to be mostly made up. He doesn't do enough to have a purely game based one.

Yeah but he's also equipped with flametrowers, missiles and other lethal weapons. He can also glide via his rocket booster and he's almost indestructable.
Omega is truly one of the strongest machine Dr.Eggman ever created along with Metal Sonic to bad they never end up working with him.
