It's too similar to be a simple coincidence, but I don't think Sakurai himself was in on it. See, when he makes an update like this, he has to make it in two dozen different languages. Since there's text in the pictures, he couldn't do an update for japan, france, germany and the states. He must have given a production-build of Brawl to be used for this update to the translators for each country. Therefore, the American translator was probably the guy behind 'Real Men Use Items'.

Now, will someone please try and translate the japanese dojo page and tell me if I'm a) correct or b) a pompous *** with his foot in his mouth?
