Today, another already known, but nameless at the time Final Smash has been revealed today on the DOJO. Meta Knight’s Final Smash <em><strong>Galaxia Darkness</strong></em> is shown.

Meta Knight’s Final Smash is kind of a bummer in that it requires very specific timing to pull off and if you mess it up, you’re punished with a wasted Smash Ball and laughs from the other players. In order for Meta Knight’s Final Smash to work, the cape that he tosses out must hit his target at the beginning if not, well you won’t feel too bright.

<p align="left">From the videos I saw on this move, it didn’t seem quite as cool looking but maybe E for All just didn’t give a very good look on it. Maybe someone like gimpyfish can give us a better idea how useful this move is.</p>

I'm not overly ahppy about this smash.

Seems really simple, and I'm not sure what the attack actually does. Once you get hit by the cape, you get slaughtered, right? And what about the Darkness? I'm confuzzled.

Maybe Sakurai always wanted the sword to be called Galaxia, but he never gave the sword a name in the kirby games becuase of their little text. Who knows, he might of suggested this to the writers. But most likely he's just pulling elements from the anime because people are familiar with it.

as long as it wasn't fridays update I'm happy (those are the updates that are suppose to last you over the weekend). Anyway Sakurai will be doing alot of these so it's best that he just gets them out of the way. So in that way I'm happy it was revealed. Really all I need is Capt. Falcons update and then I can take a brief break from the Dojo. Though I've said this before and it never happens ^_^

Pretty lame update in my opinion. The first of the month always is a good update (Lucas, Pit's Descent, Ike ect.) but this one just plain sucked.

I hope we get a veteran tommorow, I'm guessing Falcon, but I hope Marth.

It does suck that you can possibly miss the Final Smash, but I think the damage makes up for it. I also didn't know that you can hit others near you, as I thought it was only a strike to one opponent. Being able to hit multiple opponents just made this Final Smash a much better move.

I like meta kknight's final smash because from the gameplay of the noobs i saw playing with him it was usually an instant stock loss move which is pretty goood. It would leave a great sulk on those freinds faces that laughed when u missed XD.

Stuff from the Pokemon anime has been included before, the main elements being the Pokemon's voices.

I was kinda expecting a not-too-great update for today, considering how many good ones we've had recently. I wouldn't expect another character update for another week or so, it's usually a fortnight (give or take a few days) between them. Hopefully tomorrow we get something a little more interesting though (Lucas' moves might give some progress on the Ness speculation..)

It's not an awful Final Smash, it's just very limited in its range. One cannot deny its killing power, however. I only recall seeing one video in which MK did not kill the opponent with a connecting Galaxia Darkness. (What a cool name!)

I don't know why everyone is so dissapointed with the update. I personally love Meta-Knight's FS, it's powerful, and yet still requires timing to use. You can miss with almost ANY Final Smash if your timing is off, I don't know why people are whining about this one in particular.

Galaxia Darkness... an awesome name to go with an awesome move.
