Popo and Nana get a new stage and it doesn't suck this time!

Today Sakurai revealed a stage called ‘The Summit’, based on the Ice Climbers game and this time, it doesn’t appear to suck. I mean, look at it, it has veggies on it! Yum!

Pictures were circulating on the internet from various videos (coincedentally at the Media ‘Summit’) which showed an aurora in the background. The speculation was going around that this new stage was indeed a new Ice Climbers stage. Apparently this was accurate in a way. I mean, how many stages could really have auroras in it? Anyways, let’s get down to business about this stage.

<p align="center">It finally loses its balance and veers off to the left putting everyone in a very awkward position.</p>

<p align="center">It finally hits the sea where the majority of the floor is engulfed in water.</p>

The only downside to this finally hitting water is that the bear on the stage is causing the stage to sink, which brings up an entirely different question, how far will the stage sink? Will this stage somehow reset like in Castle Siege?

Im loving this stage it is so much better than the Ice Climbers stage from Melee. I really cant wait to try this stage. Did you guys see Kirby in the Ice Climbers get up that was so cool. I cant wait to see the other characters he copies so we can see what they look like. I wonder if you can swim in the water on this stage cause it looked King Dedede was floating. I am super curious about that now. I cant wait for this game cause so far it has alot to offer.

Oh yeah.. this stage is way better... wish it was a bit bigger though, oh well. The fish is awesome! And Sakurai seems to be very glad to have Dedede in Brawl! Oh and that blue Devil guy could end up killing everyone several times on this stage, lol.

Icicle mountain randomly scrolls up and down, sometimes very fast, has enemies all over it, and floors that reach the blast walls.

Platforms + Up and Down scrolling + Random = Annoying and stupid

The fish from Balloon Fighter isn't the only carnivorous fish seen. If another stage is made, involving the water, you might end up running into Nibbla (a fish enemy from DKC3).

This looks like a very fun stage indeed. It's not my favorite stage out there, but it's not my least favorite either.

Sakurai is doing a real good job with these stages, all of them look beautiful and more fun, it's just another reason on why I can't wait for this game.

I don't get why people don't like the old Ice Climber stage, it was okay in my opinion.

the main reason i didnt like the icicle mountain was because it was scrolling and monotonous. the fish probably would be an instant KO which is why he said something about being very careful when you get on the water. and the polar bear may simulate planet zebes' lava but not damaging it would just obscure vision. also i think maybe there might be a balloon fighter stage...

I'm loving this stage. Everything comes together. I think it's especially interesting that Dedede is swimming in the last panel, which means that swimming is in versus, but only for certain stages... i guess... This stage is just perfect, except for the sinking bit.
