Something interesting in the 3rd to last vid (in the first post, battlefield). At 0:10, Ike reflects Samus' charge shot somehow. And again at 0:48. Looks to be with Counter, but I'm not positive.

If it is Counter, and I think it is, thats a definate improvement over Marth's Melee counter.

Hmm, you're right. I somehow missed that.

So its like Mewtwo's Confusion, then? Blargh. May as well just be like Marth's and just eat the projectile, then. Thats too bad. Also crushes my hopes of a Counter on a ranged projectile shooting out a shockwave like he can in PoR.

It's lame, really. Maybe they'll implement that in the final version, I kinda wished Mewtwo could reflect because it would have given him an edge over spammers.

There's something good on this, and it's that contact-moves like PK Fire wouldn't activate on Ike like back in Melee.

Ok Im confused, everyone has been saying Ike has no horizontal movement in his up B and yet in this video posted above http://youtube.com/watch?v=D533pueDHLc you can clearly see at the start Ike move from the middle to the bottom platform by using his up B.

I know it is not much but I was under the impression it was suppose to be pure vertical.:confused:

it is. but if you hit the middle bottom of the stage, you get to the edge with the new game mechanics.

Two smashballs, and you can hear ike's victory theme pretty well...

edit: I dunno what is up with that link... it messes up when you copy and paste it...

But you can just search "Ike 4 free for all" on youtube and you'll get the video...

another edit: lol it's because the word "F-A-G" is in the link so it censors it...

so copy and paste that link and remove the space between F and A...

Erk, seeing people trying to use Ike's Aether to recover is pretty bad. Isn't forward B more useful?

Free periods are when you're already finished with other classes (like how you only have to take math 3 years... although I still gotta XP)
