If they summon anything, it wouldn't be Nightmare. In the game Dedede tries to stop Nightmare and helps Kirby defeat him. They could have him possessed by Dark Matter, but I would hate that to be his myself, it's so... dark...

i think his final smash would have somethign to do with his hammer, like an overgrow or something, he leaps into the air, and SMASHES the hammer pummeling anything thats near him
