Snake Date: Double Tuesday

<p align="center">Today, we’ve been hit by another multiple dose of Snake action in the form of not one, but FOUR video clips (one with Gameplay footage!), and an update on Snake’s stage.</p>

<strong>Shadow Moses Island</strong>
This is Snake’s stage. It recreates the structure in front of the helipad on Shadow Moses Island. It’s boxed in by 2 towers on the left, however they can be destroyed if damaged enough.

<p align="center">A spotlight roams the stage, and if your character is caught in it, a comical exclamation point pops up over it’s head. They aren’t the only intereactive elemtns of the stage. Enter: Metal Gears!</p>

Metal Gear Rex (Above) and Metal Gear Ray (Below) are 2 of the 3 Gears that make an appearence. The third one is “supposedly a slightly newer model.”

<p align="center">At the bottom of the stage update is this short message, followed by 3 clips.</p>

<p align="center">Most likely these will pop up in Single player, as it would certainly be distracting to have these pop up in the middle of a match, and would get annoying if you had to watch one before playing on the stage.</p>

Today's update is made of 100% win.

Aside from the obvious coolness of Snake info, we also got some extra on a few other characters, too. Snake is just badass like that. Also... English voice actor confirmed!

watching the gameplay, i reckon that mario's dair is the tornado rather than an aerial down b.
also, i think that the move where snake strangles (first shown with pics of ike...hehe rape...) is his side b move, because he lays mario down. What grab does that?

Somehow, not sure exactly how, but now Snake is made of -even more- win and awesome. Even better that David Hayter is voicing him as well.

Those conversations Snake has, while hilarious, if in the right frame could mean something else.

Since we don't know how these conversations are triggered, hypothetically they could happen at the beginning of the match before it starts, occuring under the conditions of playing Shadow Moses using Snake.

If that is the case, and Snake is discussing Zero-Suit Samus in one of the conversations, that could very well mean that the match started with Zero-Suit Samus rather than plain Samus, thereby confirming the possibility of playing Zamus without having to use the Final Smash item.

Does this possibility make sense to any of you?

I lol'ed at the last 3 videos and peed a little while watching the first one...i really hope this means that we will be getting some gameplay footage of the other newcomers *cough*Diddy*cough*

Wow these kind of updates make me want brawl so much more. And this one espically wants me to try snake and see what his story is like on subspace.

It would be really cool to see a sonic movie like the first one. That would be epic.

The best of the videos was obviously the first one, if only for the wonderful gameplay footage that we have all be dying to see.

The gameplay looks a little slower, but I'm sure we'll grow used to it.

This week has been aweseome in terms of updates so far. Snakes's stage looks sick, I cannot wait to play on it. I honestly think Snake is going to be my new main. He is so bada**. The man said he would eat yoshi. The sleeper hold is probably one of the coolest in Snakes arsenal. There is so much detail about Snake now, that I'm starting to think that Sonic being in the game wouldn't be as cool. However if indeed sonic makes it in brawl, ill just have to kick the crap out of him. GOTTEM

i like how the gameplay looks, it looks like melee in alot of ways but a bit slower,

its like every1 will have falco like combos(speed wise)

and something i noticed is that 3-hit thing snake did to mario looks like it could be his A,A,A move,

it would be like gannon kinda with the strong jab

Wow, Solid Snake has once again been blessed with a truely epic multiple update... I guess it shouldn't be too surprising though, considering he's a special guest of honor in the Smash World, so the Dojo probably needs to give the 3rd party characters some more love than the others!

Having 4 videos in a single day is really, REALLY just awesome beyond words. Whilst the other 3 don't any real gameplay footage, the codec conversations sound like they will be pretty amusing to hear as long as they don't intrude that badly, like maybe if they just pop up like the Pokemon Trainer's Final Smash... also, seeing more of the Shadow Moses stage after all this time of a few minor teasers is really satisfying as well, although the Metal Gears having a huge part in this stage does deconfirm a lot of Final Smash theories about Snake, but they do make more sense as a stage threat anyway!

This game really seems to want me to try and main Snake, and to be honest with you it seems to be working.

You guys should know that the game probably only looks slow because we're not the ones playing it. Don't forget, once we get the game and the metagame is established, we'll crank it up.
