Brawl wins a Trophy

One of my favorite parts of Smash Bros Melee, were the trophies.*They gave information of the history of various Nintendo characters and objects, and they added a bit of longetivity to Single Player for the “gotta snag em all” people (myself included. Discun was a pain in the…)*

*When stickers were announced, I worried*a bit that they might not be back. Thankfully, my worries were incorrect, trophies are back!

Like before, if you chose to, you could view all your trophies at once, or individually. You can look at them and read the history of the person.

Or you can move the info off screen and have fun, examining the trophies at all angles.

Unlike before, you can now lay down individual trophies next to each other, either just to have ones you like next to each other…

Or fiddle around and make some cool pictures. Herer’s hoping Screenshots can be taken in this mode too. Be a waste to only have it for Stickers.

I got a warm feeling when I saw this update. I really, honest to God, refused to take the "Stickers" update as an obsticle that Trophies could not win against. I guess I was ignorant in this, but at least my hopes paid of! I'm very excited to collect the next 300/400/500/Whatever Trophies they have planed for us.

Also, the Tingle rooms are going a little odd.

I never got all the trophies in Melee. I doubt I will find all of them in Brawl. But it sure adds some fun to the single-player mode! ^^

Well on this picture we can see a camera icon, i hope this confrim screenshots in the Trophemode. I think send pictures will be an option in the Wifi-Options =)

Im happy the trophies are back I loved collecting them in Melee. This is gonna be awesome. The replay value is gonna be priceless once again.

P.S. The Snake box Trophy if you loke closely you can see Snake peeking out.

I like trophies, and there were actually a cool addition to Melee. Opening up the Single Player experience.

I hope the trophy lottery returns.
It seems like most of the same features have returned, but it's nice to know you can actually decorate the table now and make your own environments. Just think of the cool screenshots, sigs and avatars everyone could make. This is honestly going to take over my gaming world.

Fire Emblem 10, Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart just better be equal just to make me turn a blind eye.

I really don't know how I am to focus on the other games and give them a chance when Smash Bros. is looking this good.

Maybe a weekly schedule could be good.

Man they have gone into so much depth. How is any game going to top this for content. This also looks like the perfect retirement project for Sakurai. Maybe this is the last Smash after all, he's pulling out all the stops... he's going the distance...

An enemy of Pikmin is in the background screenshot with Tingle.

I'm sure that now, Pikmin will be represented better, and like someone said Olimar is a shoe in (Which I agree :D) but just maybe, they'll be represented by a bunch of Pikmin being an assist trophy or something or rather.

There's two things I love about this update.

1. Tingle probaly deconfirmed. Man I hated that guy.

2. Pikmin is now in Brawl. This really helps Olimar's chances.

I'm guessing that last picture is "Diorama Mode". Could be cool. More so if you can create levels out of dioramas. :3 Not gonna happen.

On a side note, I hope all the unconfirmed characters appearing do not appear in the game: Tingle, Slippy and Ooccoo - no thanks. Dr. Stewart would be fine with me though.

the pikmin trophy doesn't mean a thing, I mean, in melee, there were two pikmin trophys, but we didn't see any pikmin stuff in-game, right??

That's not a blurred out object, it's just the stuff around the Primid.

Oi! Just clearing up a myth here. Much as I love Olimar, this does NOT in ANY way confirm him. Remember Melee? There were no less then two Pikmin-related trophies, heck, you got one of them for having a Pikmin save file on the memory card, and yet Olimar was no-where to be seen. Trophies do NOT confirm characters. Thank you.

I, too, was a little worried about the stickers update. I'm glad the trophies are coming back. I'm in the same situation as everyone else. How am I going to have time for all of this? Brawl truly is going to take up so much of my time -_-

Tinglelikely unconfirmed, but they may have gon with his wind waker style and that's his "Classic Mode" trophy.

Also, I think zKillah meant that thing under pit, between the Primid and the Pokeball.
It seems to be an assit trophy, but it took me a minute to figure that out.

Well, I'm happy that trophies are back. I never doubted their return like other people did. Also, if you look at the first screenshot you can see the "Food Item Trophy", this basically confirms Food returning in its 2D form again. The trophy pads also look nice, I hope there's more than what Melee had (293 if you got Samus Unmasked and Mario on Yoshi with cape trophy).

Can't wait for Brawl now!

Oh man, trophies finally confirmed. They're way better than stickers on any given day. Also I'm very happy to see the Pikmin series represented and since it's a lesser enemy of the game that is a trophy, a more important character will recieve a more imporant place in Brawl. Captain Olimar, the day is yours!

One of my favorite part of Melee returns. Thank god. To me, this is just as good as hearing we have Wi-Fi.

Oh, and I'm going to jump the gun and say any character revealed in today's update that showed up in trophy form that we don't already know to be playable... probably WON'T be playable.

Oh, and I like Tingle. Sadly, the rest of America doesn't, and that's why we aren't getting Tingle's Rupee Land (it's a good thing Britain gets it, though).

what a solid update for a monday, with a few more screen shots that would be satisfactory for a friday, so what a great way to start off the week. and, uh, just cause there is trophies does not confim anything. last time we had 290 trophies where alot of the characters and their franchises had nothing to do with melee. i dont think these tophies confirm or deconfirm anything.
