As a fighter Madeline could be very acrobatic and focused on movement.

I think it's about time that Sony gets a fighter on the roster. Plus, I think having a rhythm game rep would be fun and open up some interesting opportunities for a moveset.

Character Name: Phoenix Wright
Character Origin: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (GBA, 2001)

I reckon Phoenix could work quite well in this role. While the courtrooms of the Phoenix Wright series can get pretty bizarre, and very heated, they don't break out into fisticuffs - rather, Phoenix has to rely on his intelligence, evidence, and witnesses in order to defend his clients and see that justice is served fairly. Obviously, he's been in a fighting game before now (Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3), which helps give us some indication of how he'd work in a fighting, but we needn't overcomplicate him too much - simply having him and Maya feature a slightly bumbling playstyle that feels almost more accidentally damaging could be fun. I suppose he would be our third Capcom character, but he's also a good representative for the visual novel genre (which I'd say really only Shiori Fujisaki of Tokimeki Memorial, would counter in terms of recognition and popularity for this specific job role.)

Katamari is a rather unique series with a rather unique style and a rather unique protagonist. Its also pretty darn beloved by just about everyone ive met. I'm imagining The Prince himself would be the smallest fighter in the game, only slightly increased in size from canon. His Katamari would be roughly kirby-in-smash-sized however, his moveset would revolve around it ideally.

For those who have only played Automata this book with a big ego essentially fills the gameplay role of a Pod. He will work like a ray gun in smash except will be positioned above fighter shooting at a bit of an angle.

Strabby (Bugsnax)

A simple Bugsnak, it would be pretty fast and walk around. They will run away from players if they approach, if you manage to trap or attack a Strabby you will be able to eat it to restore some health. Occasionally they will be a white strabby instead of just a red strabby.

Guitar Battle (Guitar Hero)

Know a Parappa stage will probably win but since the job is open to all rhythm games. I like pushing for Guitar Hero content when i can since i personally feel like the series was bigger & more nostalgic at this point than people give it & Rock Band credit for. There will be 2 platforms to jump between with various effects (both positive & negative) being applied when one the sides activates star power.

Fight on top of cars as they drive past all the weird and iconic sights and sounds of PaRappa Town. Characters like Chop Chop Master Onion, Guru Ant, Inspector Mooselini, Colonel Noodle and others will appear, some even affecting the stage. I feel like we've got a lot of static stages and not enough stages with a lot of moving parts.
