  • Victory Theme - A snippet of the Halo Theme.
  • Losing Pose - He enters a cryo chamber to recharge.
  • Dash Attack - Forward Roll: Snake does a somersault forward. It propels Snake forward a considerable distance. Has enough knockback to be able to KO at the ledge at high percentages, but not enough to make it a reliable KO move in the center of the stage.
  • B (Grounded \ Midair) - Hand Grenade: Snake pulls out a grenade and unpins it. The grenade can be held for up to 1.5 second before it detonates. The distance Snake throws the grenade can be controlled by pressing either up, forward, down, or pressing no direction at all. • Forward + B (Grounded \ Midair) - Remote Missile: Snake takes out a Nikita missile launcher and fires a remote-controlled missile. The missile can be controlled with the control stick.
  • Back - B (Grounded \ Midair): Tranquilizer: Snake shoots a small tranquilizing projectile out of a gun that puts an opponent to sleep, allowing for easy follow-ups and starting combos. If the opponent is in the air, they are slightly launched backward with set knockback. Reloads after three shots are fired.
  • Up - B (Grounded \ Midair) - Fulton Recovery: Snake grabs onto a large balloon to slowly hover upwards.
  • Down - B (Grounded \ Midair) - C4 : Snake bends down and plants a C4 on the ground where he is standing. If Snake is standing near an opponent, he can attach the C4 directly onto them Snake can also stick the C4 towards a wall if he is standing near one. By using the move a second time, he takes out a remote and presses the button, detonating the explosive.
  • Entrance - Snake's stealth camouflage disengages to reveal himself. He then announces "Kept you waiting, huh?" upon appearing. Based on the beginning of the Tanker chapter in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
  • Taunt 1 - Snake puts a cardboard box over himself. He can then remove it, where it will fall and do light damage to anyone behind him. It can be removed by another fighter.
  • Taunt 2 - Snake tosses and catches his Stun Knife, saying "You're pretty good"
  • Taunt 3 - Snake gets into a crouching position and touches his codex, saying "colonel?" followed by a beap.

  • Victory Theme - A small excerpt of the main theme of Metal Gear Solid.
  • Losing Pose - Snakes box is there. The codex sounds out "Snake? Snake? Snake!!".
  • Entrance - Arle falls from the sky and lands on a giant puyo.
  • Taunt 1 - Carbunkle does a dance as Arle claps.
  • Taunt 2 - Arle points, creating a magic effect around her as she says "Let's battle! " Carbunckle poses.

  • Victory Pose - Arle does a peace sign as Carbunckle jumps up and down. She says "we did it!"
  • Victory Theme - A remix of Victory of Puyo Puyo
  • Losing Pose - Arle sits down and holds her head with crosses in her eyes, Carbunckle is dizzy. Based on her losing animation from the games.
  • Entrance - Jill falls from the top while landing and performing a roll as debris rains down.
  • Taunt 1 - Jill radioes for help by holding a communicator and says "Anyone there?"
  • Taunt 2 - Jill will take out an Ink Ribbon and toss it up and down before tossing it behind her.
  • Taunt 3 - Jill raises her pistol with both hands close to her face and says "Enemy is still on the loose..."
  • Victory Pose - Jill pulls out her rocket launcher and says "You want S.T.A.R.S.? I'll give you S.T.A.R.S.!" before shooting it at the screen.
  • Victory Theme - A small excerpt of the main theme of Resident Evil 3 (Remake).

This is really really really incredible but as a reminder there's there's no separation between normals and specials as there's only 1 attack button so the moveset may need editing to add the normals.

I thought of including the Codex calls on Shadow Moses but I wanted to see if that's something other people would be interested in first

Pac-Man Misc (i know that it already was did,but i want to make this misc on my own version and could be a Remake)

Entrance Animation: Pac-Man starts with his classic form, then he jumps out into his normal form

Taunt 1: Pac-Man does little tricks with a yellow Power Pallet and eats,it's a reference from his idle animation from Pac-Man World 2
Taunt 2: Pac-Man looks at the camera thumbs up and winks
Taunt 3: a sprite writted "LOOK!" with the voice saying "Look!,Look!" appears on Pac-Man,he looks at the other sides and gets confused,it's a reference from Pac-Man 2:The New Adventures

Victory Animation: Pac-Man appears on his ball, then he back into his normal form and do a pose who is an artwork from TurboGrafx-16 port from Pac-Land
Losing Animation: Pac-Man is sitted on the ground dizzy
Victory Song: a remix from start jingle from Pac-Man of Arcade

One more.

  • Entrance - Erdrick flies onto the stage using Zoom, and raises their sword up into the air.
  • Taunt 1 - Erdrick raises their sword vertically into the air. A flash of light shaped like the Mark of Erdrick shines from the blade's hilt.
  • Taunt 2 - Erdrick pulls out the Echoing Flute and plays the first few notes.
  • Taunt 3 - Erdrick tries to avoid a Slime that appears in front of them. Has a rare chance to be a Metal Slime.
  • Victory Pose - Erdrick raises their sword into the air and lightning strikes it. They then swing their sword forwards and pose dramatically.
  • Victory Theme - An arrangement of the ending phase of "Overture", the series' main theme.
  • Losing Pose - Edrick puts their sword in the ground and then crosses their arms.

Tired to make this more "Edrick" and less just " Hero"

While appreciated, this isn't going to replace the Misc info for Pac-Man we already have.

New Job!

Alright folks, we're in for the start of a fun batch of jobs, covering a type of game that's been taking the world by storm over the next few updates...

That's right... it's INDIEPALOOZA!

JOB #125: Submit TWO Indie Game characters for the roster!

That's right, two! I had always planned on doing two dedicated indie jobs, but I've decided to combine 'em into one BIG job in order to hopefully get a lot of variety in submissions. The top two characters will be added to the roster, just like old times.

To clarify, These are for separate slots, I'm not asking for duo fighters or something like that.

Job 125: Shantae and Shovel Knight

Shantae_hgh.png

Shovel_Knight_Treasure_Trove.png

Shantae is the eponymous protagonist from a platform game series called Shantae, she is a half-genie girl who stops the plans of her arch enemy Risky Boots

and Shovel Knight is the eponymous protagonist from a platform game series too called Shovel Knight,he is a knight who wears a shovel instead a sword and collects treasures with his partner Shield Knight,Shovel Knight have his partner disappeared, and he went fight against other knights and the Enchantress

Well,i would choose too other indie characters pre-Shovel Knight era,as Commandervideo, Welltaro, Octodad, Reimu, Jacket from Hotline Miami and others, or post-Shovel Knight era as The Knight from Hollow Knight, Sans from Undertale, Drifter from Hyper Light Drifter, Hat Kid from a Hat in Time and other ones who could be a big possible choices, but i chosed Shantae and Shovel Knight because they are the most well known ones, kinda Mario and Sonic from Indie games

Viral game from several years ago, would use visual novel elements & glitches in moveset.

Farmer (Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons)

One of the earliest major indie successes that spawned an entire genre.

Hades-Games-3.jpg

Zagreus (Hades)
A more recent Indie success story but one that was big enough to win multiple awards and spawn a hotly anticipated upcoming sequel. Zagreus was popular enough to cameo in the real world Smash. Rougelikes are a genre i think it would make sense to represent somehow considering how huge they are in the current landscape of gaming. Zag has a lot of moveset potential with the many weapons found in his home game making for an endless amount of things he could do. He would be able to equip boons in order to give his moves different quirks and properties, think Shulk's Monado Arts. Lots of fun stuff you could do with him.

Madeline (Celeste)
Another more recent indie darling and awards hit. I'd love to see what we could do with her considering her games lack of combat. I picture her as a speedy character who's all about out running your opponent and getting into hard to to hit places. She would have somebody the best air game in the game but wouldn't be a hard hitter. She could place objects and traps form her home game to trip and trap her foes. I think she would be a very fun unorthodox pick. Also some LGBTQ+ rep would be a welcome plus.

Harvest Moon is indie? I believe you but can you go into more detail about that if you can?
