Phantom Virus Support Thread!!!
“Welcome to the final level! You're in the major leagues now!”
Who?
The Phantom Virus was the main monster in Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase. Instead of being an actual monster or someone in a mask, the Phantom Virus is an anthropomorphic computer virus. It was created by Bill McLemore to sabotage his fellow college student’s video game project to get revenge and win a huge cash prize. The Phantom Virus also shared a huge love with it’s creator for baseball. It could also extract data from various electrical devices and control both machines and cables.
In Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase, the Virus was transported into the real work to cause chaos, starting with game designer Eric Staufer. Due to an
unfortunate accident, both the Phantom Virus and Scooby Gang were transported into a video game world. The Phantom Virus used the video game world as his very own playground, trying to elimante Scooby Doo and the rest of Mystery Incorporated.
If there was one Scooby Doo character with an interesting unlimited fighting game moveset, it would probably be the Phantom Virus. The Phantom Virus could use the video game world to do anything he wants. The Phantom Virus could manipulate anything made out of electrical energy, it constantly shot out bolts of electricity. In the final level of the movie, the Phantom Virus created a tornado out of electricity and random objects. Besides electricity, the Phantom Virus has been known to ride different video game creatures, summond different enemies, and even carry some kind of weapon (spear, sword, and baseball bat). Of course, the Phantom Virus would definitely need to have something releated to baseball in it’s moveset, it could swing his baseball bat at opponents or maybe even throw baseballs across the stage.
We all know that there are a wide arrange of Scooby Doo characters that could fit well into the roster, but why the Phantom Virus specifically you may ask. Just imagine the moveset potential I described above. The Phantom Virus could be a perfect choice for a Warners Bros fighting game! Imagine if the Phantom Virus was set lose into Multiversus. Besides it’s electricity powers and love for baseball, it could pull about anything from different series on the roster, since Multiversus is just a video game connected to Warner Bros multiverse of properties. Imagine the different properties the Phantom Virus could pull from. To give an example, image the Phantom Virus riding a dragon (GOT), wielding a Lantern Ring (DC), while summoning Candy Zombies to help fight (Adventure Time).
