I’ll go with Ganondorf: Up Special - Spear toss: Ganondorf tosses his spear in one of eight directions and teleports to its location. The move has about the same properties as Fox’s up special regarding Start-up, range, and damage. Neutral Special - Dead Man’s Volley: This one is a lot like...

Maybe I'm must missing him but is there a reason Skullomania isn't here?

I know it’s probably never going to happen but my most wanted Kirby character is Bugzzy. It would require another out there Piranha Plant style choice and even then there are many more recognizable mooks but I’ve always loved both its design and playstyle in Kirby games.

What don’t you like about it? I only played the first game but I really enjoyed it. The story was really interesting too plus there’s just something inherently cool about hunting giant robot dinosaurs in my opinion.

The Summer Game Fest just revealed a Lego Horizon game that’s also coming to the Switch. I’m watching the event now.

I really want Zegram from Rogue Galaxy, who’s owned by Sony and created by Level 5. I did really enjoy the first Horizon on PS4 so Aloy would be cool too.

I think it started with everyone sharing their first video game experience and I brought up how it’s harder for me to go back to playing NES games these days and SNES still holds up in my opinion. Then I said I feel SNES aged better than N64 graphically and it kind of spun off from there. My bad...

Yeah, I’ve been a primary Nintendo fan since the NES and had PlayStation as a secondary console up until this generation. I think at this point, I’m likely to skip out on buying either PS5 or X-Box and just stick with the Switch. I own a pretty decent gaming PC but I’ve never been much of a PC...

I had both as well but I was a bigger Nintendo fan. For PlayStation, I mostly had WWF games (Attitude, Warzone, and Smackdown) Soul Reaver, and Need For Speed until towards the end when I just started getting into JRPGS when I bought Chrono Cross. I got into the PS1 FF games and RPG Maker after...

There were some games that were a lot more open and traversable on the PS1 like Soul Reaver and Tomb Raider but those are typically the ones that had the moving wall texture issues. They also still weren’t on the same level as Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, or Banjo-Kazooie in terms of openness.

It’s crazy how fast we moved past Final Fantasy VII’s models, even within the same console generation with VIII and especially IX. You could argue that Final Fantasy X’s in game models looked better than Final Fantasy VII’s cutscene models. I do still miss the anime artstyle the original VII had...

Yeah, Final Fantasy VII’s models seem a little worse than Smash 64’s overall, which itself was worse than the high end games N64 like DK64 and OoT. It was mostly the cutscenes and pre-rendered backgrounds that made the game look impressive at the time. I think later PS1 games like Final Fantasy...

PS1 had the issue of the textures moving around on walls when they weren’t using pre-rendered backgrounds. I remember that being kind of distracting in games like Tomb Raider and Soul Reaver. N64 games like Ocarina of Time and Banjo-Kazooie didn’t seem to have that issue. PS1 models also looked...

I haven’t played Tomodachi Life but I’m guessing by the image that Tomodachi Quest a simplistic JRPG side mode in the style of classic NES Final Fantasy games. If so, that would be fun. I love the genre so it could be a fun way to use all the trophies or stickers. I’m guessing it has an...
