We will be adding Freezeflame Galaxy from Mario Galaxy which features both ice and fire-related areas! This is a rather unique concept that would be pretty fun. Plus adds another Mario Galaxy stage to boot.

Due to it being the Festival of Wishes, we will be including a yellow and white based color scheme for characters. The character has to have these 2 colors in their color palette. Several characters already have this color scheme so please make sure to check those out Ultimate's and Infinite/Beyond's

We will be including new spirits based on Ice or Star-based characters. To see which spirits we have included, please consult the front page. For Infinite, please do a search for your character on the main thread. You can submit up to 5 new spirits.

Submit a Mii Costume based on a Character with Ice Powers

To avoid a Mii Costume that has been already been added, please make sure to check the main thread by doing a search. We will need to have users do this to avoid repeated submissions that are already in. While I could technically provide the list, I certainly do not have the time to do that so please help me out by helping waste all of our times by searching for your content. Ping me if you are uncertain.

4th Party Costumes are not a common occurrence. I saw earlier about the French popular culture post that HyperSomari64 post. This is 100% not what we are looking to include for 4th party content. It needs to be recognized within Japan and globally in a scale that is, well, high. The pole needs to be high. Now, I am on the fence about allowing people to submit a series to base submissions off on. It's not that I don't trust people....but I don't trust people lol. It's not maybe as fun as adding whatever silly things are but despite the fact we are adding 4th party content, I still want to adhere to some sense of sensibility and abstract realism. That is why I am looking to include the best of the best of the best of the best.

I am thinking of doing this:

Having a vote to see if:

• you will allow me to decide the series/company we will include (which I have an idea for and it's one that makes perfect sense)​
• Or to submit a series/company for us to include​

That being said, depending on the number of submissions, I am considering doing eliminations rather than voting outright to thin out the herd.

Understandable. Our content isn’t as rigid as it was in past games and our current set up allows for previously included content to get added it as something else such as Squid Sistets, Toad, and Morrigan.

Your going to have to wait for the next character prompt to suggest those, and even then, there are no guarantees that they will be be added, especially echoes.

I too have waited for some of my most wanted to get in, and while there is some success, some are not successful, so just be patient ok?

I sort of moved on when i saw the Kula assist rather than thinking of how it effected eligibility. Good to know for the future in case i ever change my mind on assist & fighters as mii costumes (although im sure i have & will vote for some since i normally dont double check every nominee).

Again, I feel reluctant to vote... could we know what series/company is in mind if the "Allow Venus to decide" option is chosen? I get that there's a surprise element, but due to the nature of 4th Party content and how precedent breaking it is... I feel transparency should be prioritized over surprise.

I’m leaning on voting on a list of viable candidates. There’s really no good way to do this but I feel this route has the less issues with it. But seeing as how “let people decide is winning”, it’ll be a non-issue.

Submit an Ice General​

In order to get access to defeating the Ice Titan, you must get through the four Ice Generals. In the last Titan ambush, we had to defeat all four generals three times in order to get to the last phase. This will remain the same but, previously, you just challenged them. This time around though is a bit more convoluted because the four generals have taken particular areas of the Smash Hub for their own castle. Players must infiltrate that "iced" castle via a Smash Dungeon which is far more difficult than a typical dungeon. Als

When submitting, please provide an explanation of:
Name
Appearance (much larger than normal characters and has aspects of that element ingrained. Remember defeating this general on a Medium and upwards difficulty on the last phase rewards the player with a costume of it.)
The dungeon that the player must travel
How the character differs from its normal counterpart

I am submitting the first one so we need three more....

• Ice General Corrin
• Appearance: Hair has become like ice which stretches out and dances about them. Corrin retains the dragon helmet which appears far more draconic than before. Ice shards are pierced into their back with ice wings jutting out from the shoulder blades. A tail made of ice trails behind it.
• Dungeon: Iced-Out Hollow (An ice dragon breeding ground full of ice-type enemies with ice statues of dragon lining it.)
• Differs: Ice General Corrin:
  • Dragon Fang Shot and down special can freeze opponents
  • Has a new attack that fires ice shards from the ground which jumps upwards.
  • Will fly into the air and do a Ridley backgroundt-to-foreground attack
  • Delivers a powerful ice/fire breath combo which can freeze opponents.
  • Summons an actual Ice Dragon to crashes and lashes about on the stage

Submit a Star-based Stage Variation​

In this one, we are taking a stage and casting it into night with the aurora borealis in the background and twinkling of stars. These stars will occasionally fall in the background. To give the actual stage some changes, it will have some ice clinging to the platforms but it won't alter the playability of the stage. Stages that already have a night feature or are ice-based are not allowed. This also includes stages that are primarily inside or not "natural" such as GB Dreamland, Gyromite, Wii Fit Studio, and so on or stages that, while outside, do not have a sky that is obstructed such as Shadow Moses Island, Mishima Dojo, and so on. There must be a sky visible to allow for the aurora and stars.

Ice General:

• Ice General Zagreus
• Appearance: Zagreus's hair becomes an icy white, his laurels replaced with an icy snowflake-like pattern. The death/skull themes on his outfit are also replaced with a more blizzard-like theme, his feet icy blue and covered in a visible, icy vapor. Look closely at his eyes, and you'll find his black-and-red eye has now become an icy blue and gray.
• Dungeon: Temple of Demeter (An ice-coated Greek temple with many decorations and a large shrine dedicated to the goddess of the harvest)
• Differences for Ice General Zagreus:
  • All attacks are locked to the effects of Demeter's Boons
  • Zagreus can Call on Demeter to coat himself in a passive icy blizzard that deals damage over time.
  • Many of his normals will generate spikes of pure ice that poke from a distance.
  • A unique throw that embrittles the player's character, making the next hit on them double damage and knockback.
  • Side Special has counter-frames that inflict a guaranteed Freeze effect when triggered.

Star-Based Stage Variation:

Christmas On The Brainz (House Variation)

The House stage from Plants Vs. Zombies has now been covered in a hefty sheet of snow and ice and is wrapped in Christmas decorations. The sky in the background is lined with stars, with some shooting stars streaking across the sky. The Zombies Assist Trophy that can be summoned will have said Zombies in winter gear, as will the Zombies that are a part of the stage.

The stage now takes place at night, with twinkling stars streaking throughout the night sky in the background and beautiful aurora borealis shining through. This is meant to reminiscent of the beautiful night sky backgrounds commonly seen throughout the Xenoblade games.
